The authorities of New London, Conn. Investigating the possible causes behind failure park ride amusement held Tuesday afternoon.

Six children were sent to hospital after suffering an electric shock while riding the Scrambler at Ocean Beach Park. According to FOX 61, the operator driving felt a shock after pushing the stop button for the turn and several children reported a tingling sensation as they landed. A boy grabbed a fence as he came out of the tower, was shocked, and received a minor burn on his hand.

Six riders were taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. All six of these children have now been treated and released from the hospital, police said.

"Emergency services transported several children to the local hospital, received some type of electrical shock. The most seriously injured had some small burns on the palms of his hands when he touched the metal ramp when he descended the race, "said Assistant Police Chief Peter Reichard New London.
